What tree are you?
If you were a tree (or treelike plant), what would you be, and why?

I'd be a linden tree—super sturdy with delicate-flower parts, heart-shaped leaves all over my sleeves, almost unrecognizably generic in winter but sweet and unmistakable in spring.

I'm a cypress, shaped by the forces of the world, hanging on to beautiful places, and resilient.

I want to say willow because I'm flexible and have hidden powers of healing.

Maple. Strong, resilient, useful, colorful sometimes and makes tasty sweet things.

I'd be an apple tree. I'm compact, usually found among others like myself, and I like to feed people.

In fact, I've given this some thought: when I die, I want an apple tree planted above me so I can continue to feed the people I love (and others) for many more decades. Like Sir Ribbeck of Ribbeck of Haveland.
