don't worry, be happy
One of my contacts on this is my jam shared this Bobby McFerrin video yesterday, and I love it so much I want to share it here. I will never cease to be amazed by the range of sounds he can make with his body, and I love how his fingers move on the mic as though he's playing a flute!

Here he is playing with an audience in Montreal:

And, of course, the wonderful demonstration of musical intuition at the World Science Festival:
I'm feeling: happyhappy

One of the amazing things to me is how quiet the audience gets in the first video...there's something amazing about that many people *paying attention* so concertedly.

And, as you point out, there is good reason to.

*nodnodnod* I remember hearing somewhere that he has five octaves from top to bottom. Absolutely astonishing.

Have you heard the album he made with Yo Yo Ma, "Hush"? It is amazing.

you know that thing where you drop a pebble in a pond and you never know where the ripples reach?

You brought us a bit of joy in the midst of a very much stress filled week.
I watched all three videos with the boys, and we were all filled with joy and light. THanks for giving me an opportunity to share such an amazing man with them.

Thank you.
