I keep thinking of things I want to post here when I'm away from a keyboard, and then when I'm in front of my computer, I'm all, "Uhhh, what was that thing again?" So, instead, a QOTD:

If you were a leafy green, what would you be? (Here's a list of greens in case you, like I, have trouble thinking beyond the ones you know best.)

I wanted to be kale or arugula, since they're some of my favorites, but I think I'm not.

But I think I'm beet greens: flavorful and colorful at all times. Bitter and gritty if poorly handled.

I think I'd be the ornamental kale amadea carried down the aisle at her wedding, which moominmollyate after the reception. That kale and I have a lot in common.

Still mustard greens. Spicy and not loved by everyone, but hardy and delicious.
