Happy Spring!
I don't know if it's the weather, finally having recovered from the weekend, the fact that I drank my coffee at the PERFECT time this morning, or the fact that I got a great night of sleep ... or just dumb luck! But I am in a super awesome top notch good mood today. It's WONDERFUL.

I love these days!!

For me it's definitely several days of wonderful weather plus several more forecasted for the WEEKEND! It totally makes up for not being 100% healthy. :)

Happy Spring!

In the US, it’s the first day of spring today. Unfortunately, it doesn’t feel like it today in Huntley, Illinois. Instead, it’s a bit chilly, making it feel like winter wants to hang around.
Winter must go.
With the first day of spring means that baseball season isn’t far away. The first regular season game for the Chicago Cubs is at the end of the month. Ultimately, it means I’m going to have to dig out my Cubs gear from being stored away for the long and cold winter months.
Unfortunately, spring means seasonal allergies—which I’ve been dealing with for a while because of all the rain we’ve had along with the winter snow. All that water has probably caused an early awakening in the allergy triggers like tree pollen.
No wonder I’m feeling miserable this morning! My sinuses are killing me. Stupid sinus headache is definitely a sign that it’s probably going to end up being a bad year for seasonal allergies. Guess my boyfriend, Sean, and I are going to have to hunker down for a bad allergy season this year—as it has obviously come a bit early.
