ruthless compassion

Please feel free to share this with anyone who might fit the bill:

I'm looking for an apartment/roommate(s) in the Boston area, ideally starting around April 1, but with some flexibility in dates in either direction. I don't own a car, so public-transit access is key. I'd like to pay no more than $650 in rent, more if it includes utilities. Less would not be a problem. I'm happy to join an established apartment looking for a roommate, or join up with folks to rent a new place.

A bit about me:

I'm fairly quiet, tend to be a bit of a homebody, but do go out regularly, too. I'm not the tidiest person in the world, but I definitely respect others' limits on clutter and pitch in with housecleaning and the like. I don't usually stay up terribly late, and I don't mind if you do. I don't smoke, and I have no pets but I'm pet-friendly. I pay all my bills on time.

I'm looking for friendly, open-minded roommates who want more out of a roommate than just rent-sharing, but less than lifetime committment :) I'm queer and therefore need my roommates to be queer-friendly.
