brave and crazy

What's the difference between being brave and being crazy, or between doing something brave or doing something crazy? (I don't really mean in the certifiable sense of crazy, so much as the social "Wow, that's totally crazy," commentary we like to make about things we or other people do.)

Can something be both brave and crazy? Is it all in how we look at it, or how it comes out in the end, or something else?
