It's hot

I've decided that my technique for the heat this summer is to embrace it, rather than to fight it. No, I'm not going so far as to eschew air conditioning. That would just be silly. But when I'm out in the heat, rather than complain bitterly, either aloud or just in my head, about how hot and sweaty and thick it is, I'm going to let my body feel what it feels. At the very least, this should increase my mental comfort, if not my physical :)

Funny food

As I sit here eating potato chips with mustard (dijon, of course, although not GOOD dijon), it occurs to me to ask:

What weird food tastes do you have?

Some of mine:

salted lemon wedges
toast with butter and salsa
orange sections left out to dry so the membrane is crispy
grapefruit should only be eaten like an orange, but with the membrane removed. none of this cut-in-half and eat-with-spoon crap.
frozen bananas
ice cream is best ouf of a mug, not a bowl
