(no subject)

I spent Saturday night lounging and relaxing after finishing with the move, which was very nice.

Then, Sunday morning, I bundled my stuff up and did a quick jaunt up to Maine! I got there in time for lunch, and we went to have yummy clams and scallops. Deeelish! Then we went to see the Coast Guard Tall Ship, The Eagle. We went aboard and did a tour, which was really cool.

After that, razil and I made another batch of soap -- we replicated the unnamed soap we made last time but this time with water rather than breast milk, and cranberry fig scent. It'll be interesting to see how the two batches compare. We also unmolded the first batch, which looks and smells great. Then we made a load (really, a big load) of blueberry cordial.

Then, we stopped doing all the stuff that blivious finds dull and moved on to drinking. After a Frightleberry Murzenquest, we decided that instead of going out to dinner, we would get lobsters at the Hannaford and get drunk at home, instead. Had another drink before dinner, the name of which I've forgotten, two glasses of wine with dinner, another interesting drink and then finished with a Bushwhacker. Definitely more drink than I've had in a loooong time. Very entertaining :)

We ended up staying up late, but I didn't sleep as late as I might have liked. After breakfast, I headed south again, and hit some of the end-of-labor-day-weekend traffic, but not too bad. penk and catya picked me and my stuff up at San & Kai's in cambridge, and now I'm at homeport until my departure.

I'm very glad I got a chance to go to Maine again to see Scott and Liz before I left, and it turned out to be a really fun trip.
