weekendy goodness

I do like middle Mass. North Hampton is always fun, and I'm proud of myself for resisting the temptation to buy yummy yarn (I really need to get started on the sweater I have planned first). We made chocolate covered strawberries (YUM!), I got a delicious footrub (mmmmmmmm) and in general had a very nice time.

I'm excited to be back home and sleep in my own bed. I'm obviously in a place of having to make up for lost time with my bed (and with, in general, space that's MINE) because I'm just not very interested in travel at the moment, which is a really interesting shift that I'll have to ponder a bit.

Massachusetts is in its height of greenness, and the drive back to Boston today, just before the sun set, was amazingly gorgeous. I love fall in New England for all the colors, but early summer is such a wealth of green that it has its own impressive rainbow of shades.
