Inspired by the MBTA's bag-search policy during and following the DNC, miss_chance hit on the idea of printing up bags with the Fourth Amendment (against unreasonable search) printed on them. I liked the idea, so I signed on as a partner in the venture, and in a busy couple of weeks, we've gone from concept to (almost) product! We're just waiting for the bags to arrive, but we're ready to take pre-orders on our website:

www.handsoffmybag.com

This is very exciting, and probably would be more so if it weren't quite so late.

Bags are $20 +shipping online, and $18 in person (ie, paid by cash or check), but we're not planning to hold bags for people unless we have your money already (too much to keep track of!).

Please do spread the word!

And, while I'm at it, major thanks go to penk for immense amounts of technical support along the way, and for hosting the site, and to totient for assorted other help, especially with some of Paypal's, um, challenging features.
