worst night ever

Wow, I haven't had such a lousy night of sleep in AGES.

I went to bed later than I should have, and then I tossed and turned anxiously for 2+ hours, and then slept fitfully for 4 or so.

Bleh. Bleh, I say!

yard sale

So, we had a yard sale. It was very nice.

Actually, it was a lot of work, as you would expect. I didn't spend nearly as much time tagging and organizing as totient and miss_chance did, but I also had significantly less stuff than they did. I would guess that I sold about half of what I had, and I got enough money to pay for dinner out tonight and a new crock pot, which was what I was hoping for. Of course, it's easy to think, "Gosh, maybe I should have held onto X and tried to sell it on ebay. I could've made money with it!" of the stuff that I sent to goodwill at the end of the day, but, really, I know myself, and I would never actually get around to doing that, and it's really excellent to get rid of Stuff that I don't need/use/whatever.

Lots and lots of people we know came by, many of whom I could mention, but I'm feeling lazy, so I won't. Suffice it to say that I hope that all of you who bought things make good use of them!

After the crappy night of sleep I had, I'm completely wiped, of course, but I'm hoping a shower will perk me up and I might even get a bit of work done tonight. If not, I'll flop down and read, or maybe *gasp* watch TV, since eveandodd showed me how to make it so I can watch TV on the tv, rather than just DVDs.

My ideal schema for this evening would be:

Shower, food, massage, sleep.

What will actually happen involves at least 3 of those things, and that's not too shabby.
