Okay, great. I've gotten some great recipes from this community, even with sifting through all the dreck. But sometimes, I'm almost overwhelmed with the urge to drop-kick it off my reading list, because, I don't know, maybe it's just me, but

I have Dannon Light and Fit yogurt in the fridge that expired YESTERDAY. It's been kept in the coldest part of the fridge and I'm wondering if it's still good to eat? If so, how long past the experation date (3/14) will it keep? Thanks!


simply doesn't qualify, in my book, as food porn. Food safety, maybe, but certainly not porn. That's like having a porn flick discussing the safety or not of using a condom that's just expired. Please.

One of these days, I swear I'm gonna start a food_erotica community.

Here I am in DC, enjoying the balmy southern breezes and the friendly political climate of our nation's capital...

Oh, okay, not so much. I did some wandering this afternoon, but I was too late for any of the museums, all of which close at 5 or 5:30 -- what's up with that? But it's fun to stroll an unfamiliar city. Unfortunately, the downtown area, where my hotel is, isn't all that interesting. Is there a rule here about how tall buildings can be? All the buildings seem so short and stubby. It was very gusty/windy, which isn't great for walking around in a skirt, though maybe I gave some unsuspecting motorists a thrill.

Now, it's only 10, but I'm tired enough to sleep. Which I probably should do, considering that I need to get up pretty early tomorrow for conferency fun.

Okay, DC people! Friday night I'm around for dinner. I'd like to try Zaytinya, which is a tapas place near my hotel so it should be easy for me to find. I'm thinking 7:00. If you'll be joining me, let me know so I can make a reservation for the right number of people!
