Often enough, someone produces research results that make me roll my eyes and go, "Well, duh!" This is dumb, because it's also pretty common to research that disproves "common knowledge." So I'm trying to stop doing that.

Therefore, rather than saying, "Well, duh!" to this, I will instead say that I am pleased to see scientific evidence in support of biodiversity as an important ecological good.
