Registration is open for the summer terms, and the course offerings are finally available to peruse, as well. I have two more courses to take to finish my degree, and my plan is to take them in the summer in order to be done, hooray!

Sadly, all of the summer courses in my department are offered in the evenings, each meeting twice a week for 3.5 hours each evening. This is mildly annoying, as evenings are the time that I actually get to see people, most of the time, and giving up two each week for classes seems like a lot! More annoying is the fact that most of the classes are offered MW, which leads to the biggest annoyance: both of the classes I'm most interested in are being taught at the same time. Grah!

So, first, I need to decide whether I should take Writing and Public Communication or Negotiation, Mediation and Conflict Resolution, which are the competing classes.

Then I need to decide if I'd rather just give up all my weeknight evenings (M-Th) for six weeks and take a second class in the first summer term, or if it would be better to give up two nights a week for most of the summer and take one class each term. Right now, I'm leaning toward the former, but it would be so much easier if that meant I would get to take both of the classes I really want.
