I'm one of the rare-ish people, in most of my circles, who likes scented body products, at least some of them. Yes, some are overly strong, and some just smell BAD, but, in general, and in moderation, I enjoy both the scents, and what I gather from someone regarding the scent(s) they choose.
Additionally, however, I enjoy the way people smell, without products. I'm obviously not talking stale old smells of an unkempt body, but the honest scent of someone who has been out in the world and doing stuff with their body.
I know how I feel about body scents (as opposed to the less popular, perhaps, body "odor"), and naturally, I like my own, as well (assuming I don't feel I've gone too long without a shower). But lots of people out there seem to have bought into the whole "the body must smell like spring rain, or nothing!" marketing trick, so there's always that worry that I'm sitting next to someone who might object to my sunshiny, nutty scent.
Nevertheless, mmm, bodyscents. Thanks, summer!
