Because one day of thanks is not enough: part 6 (of 7)

Today is a good day to appreciate leftovers, which I've always liked. So very many foods are just as good, if not better, as leftovers, and it's hard not to feel rich when you have WAY TOO MUCH FOOD. There's something particularly warming about Thanksgiving leftovers, and how nicely they all go together, tastily delicious for days and days.

Being thankful about leftovers means being thankful about food and about plenty, both of which are easy to take for granted. I'm not one to pray before meals, but I like the habit of taking a moment to appreciate everything that comes together to allow me to enjoy meals on a daily basis, and not only in the sense of having the food to eat, but also being able to savor and take pleasure in it.
