Most hotels rooms are pretty much the same, certainly for business travel on a foundation funds. As a rule, I'm not too picky. As long as there's a bed and hot water, I'm happy. But the little things can really make a room for me. For example, I'm always pleased when there's a shower cap among the toiletries, or when there's a nice radio in the room. I once stayed at a place in DC that even included CDs of music I'd never heard of! That was very nice.
What little details make or break a hotel room for you?
