Back in Boston!

And ahhhh, my bed. How I love it! Though gatopreto and meristem have one just like it, other than the fact that it's not mine, so I didn't miss it too horribly!

As attentive readers may have gathered, I had a pretty spectactular trip. I enjoyed seeing all the people I saw, meeting some of them for a first or second time, spending time with some folks who I rarely get to see in low-key, concentrated stretches. Many thanks to my various hosts for opening your homes to me -- it was entirely delightful, all the way around.

It was also, in a number of ways, an unexpectedly momentous trip, in ways that I expect will continue to unfold for a week or two.

And it's awfully nice to be home, if only for a few nights.
