weekend plans: RUST

Back in the spring, dancingwolfgrrl pointed me to this permaculture training and said, "So, wanna??" To which the only possible reply was, "Boy howdy!"

My primary disappointment with the permaculture design intensive that kcatalyst and I did the other year was the lack of focus on urban settings. Permaculture is very cool, and cities are also very cool, and I like the idea that there are ways to mesh the two and make urban environments more sustainable. So I'm really, really, really looking forward to this weekend. I hope it lives up to my hopes! But, really, two days spent looking at urban sustainability is pretty likely to make me happy.

Also! I just got permission from one of my professors to profile this group for a case study for one of my classes, so, hey, two birds with one stone! Awesome.
