Saw Winged Migration yesterday with hawkegirl, her kids, and cos. I really enjoyed it, and I'm dying to pick up the soundtrack! It had some really wonderful imagery, and it was just neat to see birds so up-close-and-personal. I really appreciated the balance between "nicey nice" nature/bird images and some nitty gritty (but not too graphic!) deaths and the like. In some ways, I almost wish there'd been more in the way of narration, because there was so much I wanted to know! But I guess I can always get that from "Nature" on PBS.
There were also a bunch of previews of movies I want to see. I should really start keeping a list!
