In the wake of my post about how to apologize, several people have suggested or supported the suggestion that I should think about teaching an informal (like, some center for adult ed) class on the topic of social diplomacy or navigating tricky social situations or the like. Though I hardly think I'm an expert, and don't want to cast myself as one!, a friend rightly pointed out that teaching shouldn't be left in the hands of self-proclaimed experts, which is a good point. So I'm thinking about this, and I mostly think it could be fun and would almost certainly be interesting.
So, I turn to you to ask:
a) with no commitment expressed or implied by saying yes to this, would such a class be interesting to you? b) regardless of your answer to a), what topics would you like to see covered in such a class?
