Oh, interesting. Deliberately? I find that my interest in them has dropped to near-zero over time, but it was never a conscious choice.

After learning about the "carbon cost" of bottled water, I stopped buying it.

(Well, I tried to stopped buying it, and decreased my consumption of it about 95%. I do occasionally still find myself urgently thirsty without easy access to any other source of water.)

I haven't fully stopped any of my plastic usage, but learning about that has definitely inspired me to reduce it by a LOT.
