What muppet are you, and why?
I'm feeling: chipperchipper

Beaker! Because I have Beaker hair and can make the Beaker face.

You so can!

Although many would say that I am SOOP-ER GROVER! I've always felt like more of an Ernie. Trickster, goofball and the world is my Bert.

Kermit. Because life's like a movie and he wrote his own ending, kept believing, kept pretending, he did just what he set out to do. :o) And because it's not easy being green, and because I love that he's sad sometimes.

Maybe it's more that I *aspire* to be like Kermit; it might too arrogant to actually claim to be like him. :o) Maybe I'm more like Bert -- full of love, but also really anal and dorky.

Great question!!!! Mind if I steal it sometime?
ruthless compassion: martini handsaroraborealis on November 5th, 2009 05:06 pm (UTC)
Please feel free to steal it!

And I think you're totally Kermit :)

I want to be Kermit, but I'm afraid I might be Miss Piggy.
Stunt Double for the Patriarchystarphire on November 6th, 2009 04:08 am (UTC)
I don't think so...
-you're not a drama queen or an attention whore, however charming Miss Piggy makes those traits seem.
-you actually hear what other people are saying
-you're way better looking than her ;)

You have diplomatic qualities, you're cool under pressure, and you're appreciative of what you've got. And you know how to do the behind-the-scenes work to put on a show.

I'd say you're more like Kermit, except you're not green.

Because I always did like to beat drums. Or maybe eat them.

Winky Pinkerton, for obvious reasons.

Gonzo. Particularly at the end of Muppets from Space, when he's just so grateful for all these friends around him and his doubfounded delight to discover that they really do care about him. . .

Hi, I'm a sap. "I'm going to go back there someday" (Gonzo's song from Rainbow Connection) was Barry's and my first dance at our wedding.

Actually, I think the power of "the muppets" is that so many of them reflect either our hidden selves or our secret aspirations.

Floyd, only less stoned. (see icon.)

seriously though, probably closer to Scooter.

Not sure I can identify with one of them. But I want to be Rolf. He can play piano! And seems to be calm and together all the time.

Apparently that's "Rowlf the Dog". Durned written media.

I have a secret fear that I might be Fozzie Bear.

I SO do not have an answer for this. SO MANY…
But then, I have a gift certificate for FAO Shwartz's Make-Your-Own What-Not Muppet thing at home, so when I get there and do it, I guess we'll know for sure.

That said: Grover. Beaker. Animal. Sweetums.

Gonzo. It's the nose. OK, and that he turns out to be an alien.
phitotient on November 5th, 2009 06:24 pm (UTC)
Then again, perhaps I'm getting more like Statler...
What do you think we are, Monkeys on Sticks???goat on November 5th, 2009 06:27 pm (UTC)
Ted and I discussed these pressing matters, and after briefly considering that perhaps I was an Ernie or even a Fozzie, we settled on Gonzo (YAY!).

Ted's totally a Kermit (with a little Rowlf mixed in for attitude and romance).

I'm big bird. Infinitely memorable, but largely unimportant to the plot.

Which one? I can think of at least 2. My favorite is the one he sings in Sesame Street goes to the Museum
