I am fascinated that, as of now, the responses to my previous post are:

a) women agreeing with me and
b) men with "clever" or loophole comments

Hee! You win.

I wasn't sure how to respond.

Did it need a response?

Honestly? Since I was the only one in the thread referred to in the previous thread to make such an "over-adjectivized", gramaticidal comment, I did wonder if I should respond or not.

I have strong feelings that in nearly all cases, the urge to comment should be squashed. Except this one.

I actually wasn't referring to your comment (in fact, didn't remember at all that anyone had used that formulation in the slot post at all) with the "enough" post, though I can see how you would think I was, and I'm sorry if I pinched a nerve with it!

No worries! Glad I didn't set the post off in the first place. I rarely use LOLspeak but do enjoy a little wordplay now and then. I was being lazy and punchy yesterday.

I totally misread this as "gramacidal"

Grammarcide.

There's wit here, I know it.

I dunno, I seem to be female, and I found "tautologies" and "tiresome" pretty funny.

Sure, I didn't think it would continue that way, but it was interesting to me that it started with such a clear split.

Pleonastic also got style points, in my book. :)

The way LOLspeak has ruined my language is in the use of "HAZ"
For instance, when Snack and I are going out, I'll remember I some cash on me and say "I haz a money" At night she'll say "I haz a sleepy" Sometimes one of us "needz a money" (well, actually we all needz a money, but you knowz what I mean) And "I can haz?" is now a legitimate question.

YOu win
The only comment on either post-thread that made me laugh out loud.

How many people were thinking "what's all this about, now?", but were saved actually saying it by good examples of bad examples (or vice versa).

At least one, is all I'm saying.
