The Sangria Project: Orleans  
Orleans sangria was very fruity tasting, and though it didn't come with any fruit IN it, it did have one wedge each of orange, lime, and lemon perched on the edge of the glass. It tasted particularly plum/pruny, which I liked, but it lacked the depth and complexity that I enjoy in a really good sangria. It was not bubbly, and unlike some, where I think that's neither a pro or a con, I actually think that the very fruity flavor of this would have benefitted more than many from a bit of spritz. B-

There's a restaurant here with sangria we've been meaning to investigate -- come visit and try it with us!

I would love to be a part of this project (as would Andy, I think).

You should add Cantina la Mexicana (Union Square) to your list, they have both white and red sangria.

What's up with sangria without fruit in it? Isn't part of the point that fruit floating in wine is pretty? Tu Y Yo serves theirs with the fruit (or at least they did the last time I was there -- maybe it's gone out of fashion or something).
